Become part of the glasstec conference and present your expertise on the hot topics of glasstec.

In 2024 the glasstec conference will again be held in parallel with the biggest international trade fair revolving around the material that is glass. At this high-calibre conference, solutions to the current challenges and developments are presented and discussed by experts.

Hot Topics at glasstec 2024

The focus will predominantly be on the topics Circular Economy, Digital Technologies as well as Decarbonisation. Indeed, decarbonisation and resource saving processes are among the principal issues of our time, which also affect the energy-intensive glass industry. What are the levers for the glass industry to tap into significant potential for the future?

  • (Innovations, digitalisation, industry 4.0, artificial intelligence & machine learning)
  • (Sustainability, new key technologies, sustainable resources and regionalisation)
  • (Energy and energy management, resources and recycling in the glass industry)

Your talk at the glasstec conference 2024

The Hot Topics, the most current issues of our time, feature in all areas of the glass world: glass production, glass processing and finishing as well as glass products and applications.

Is your company already committed to these areas? How does your company prepare for the future situation and/or which of your products is designed to rise to these challenges and expectations? The glasstec conference with its openly accessible lecture stage allows to you introduce your solutions and developments.

This is why we call upon you as an exhibitor and industry expert to help solve the challenges of our days by contributing with a talk as part of the discussions and presentations at glasstec 2024. Likewise, research and teaching institutes as well as specialist publishing houses, associations/organisations are invited to take part with a talk.

Submit your proposal if your intervention deals with at least one of the above-mentioned challenges. An expert jury will select the most exciting and innovative contributions.

Terms of participation

  1. Participation is only possible for exhibitors at glasstec 2024. Non-exhibitors may apply subject to not pursuing any commercial interests.
  2. The contribution shall address at least one of the three glasstec topics mentioned above.
  3. Submission of a contribution does not guarantee acceptance. Messe Düsseldorf reserve the right
    to select corresponding lectures with the support of a jury of experts.
  4. Interventions shall be expert lectures and not be used for product advertising.
  5. Lecture duration: 20 minutes incl. 5 minutes for Q&A. Presentations are welcome in German or English (simultaneous interpretation will be provided on site).
  6. Deadline for submissions: 1 June 2024
  7. By the end pf June 2024 at the latest you will receive a response on whether and when your intervention will be featured. Upon inclusion in the agenda participation will be free of charge.
